Birds in western Uganda
Uganda is probably the best country in Africa for birds, with about 1000 species recorded in an area the size of great Britain.
In Queen Elizabeth National park alone, you find almost 550 species. 350 species have been recorded in Bwindi Impenetrable forest.

- African fish eagle
- Sunbirds
- Vagtail
- Owls
- Weavers
- Camari
- Parrots
